Powder Coating

Powder Coating is a type of coating used on metal products. The dry powder is applied electrostatically through a spray gun and then cured in a heated oven to allow it to harden creating a finish that is tougher than conventional paint. We have our own large in house Nordson powder coating plant with a 4000mm x 2500mm x 2500mm box oven, allowing us the flexibility of coating small and large batches of components. We can powder coat many items such as bike parts, chassis, alloy wheels, and garden furniture to a wide range of colours from BS and RAL ranges.

Welding

MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welding is a welding process that is used to bond together metal such as steel. The process uses a continuously fed wire on a reel.
TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welding is a welding process that is used to bond together such metals as aluminium or stainless steel. The process uses long welding rods that are slowly hand fed rather then continuously fed on a reel as MIG welding. Our Fronius welding equipment allows us to offer specialist welding services that include plasma, stainless & aluminium welding capabilities.

CNC Punching & Nibbling

CNC is a sheet metal manufacturing process that is carried out by a computer numerically controlled (CNC) punch press.
Punching is a process that punches a shape out of the sheet metal  using a punch die. The punch die can be a multitude of shapes & sizes from circular holes, squares & rectangles to more specific shapes. We have an extensive tooling range.
Nibbling is a process of producing holes at speed close to each other. The holes can be separate or overlap. These allows a wider range of shapes to be produced. Our CNC is a Trumpf Trumatic TC500R which is capable of punching, nibbling and forming large sheets. Our maximum capacity material is 3085mm x 1650mm x 8mm thick. We have the latest CAD/CAM software, Radan, that allows us to receive customer drawings in any format including DXF, DWG, & PDF.

CNC Bending

Computer numerically controlled (CNC) bending is a manufacturing process that is carried out by CNC press brakes (also known as CNC brake presses). These machines can bend sheet metal work from just a few mm across to sections many metres long.
We have a suite of Safan machinery including 2 x CNC CLK110-3100 press brakes all with maximum sheet capacity of 3000 mm x 6mm thick.

CNC Cutting

CNC Guillotine Cutting. This machine is used to cut sheet metal into sizes and blanks with great accuracy. The cut sheets or blanks can then be bent or formed into different components such as casings, door coverings, or even car panels.
We have a suite of Safan machinery including the HT310-6 guillotine with maximum sheet capacity of 3000 mm x 6mm thick.

Other Services

We can also offer machining, polishing, sawing, tube bending, and material supplies. If we don't carry the material in stock then we can order it in for you!
